Dancing With Dementia

These sessions are social activities with live artists and DJ's. They offer various types of dance including Ballroom, Latin, Sequence Dance, Line dancing and disco. They encourage guests to sing along to the popular songs and to join in with the dancing.

The sessions create an excellent social outing to encourage engagement with other guests and to help to relieve some of the isolation, loneliness and depression often associated with the dementia condition. Carers are able to find help and support with other guests who can show support and empathy with the dementia journey.

Sessions run on the 2nd Monday of the month.
