Singing with Friends

Singing with Friends is a dementia choir. The majority of the group are those living with dementia with their carers, family or friends.

University of the Third Age members are also welcome and help to support this group.

There is a choir leader who plays a grand piano, and they sing a wide variety of songs from the relevant decades to support reminiscence. As well as song books they also use an overhead projector and instuments.

They have a refreshment break with tea, coffee and biscuits half way through the session.
