All In Sound

PLEASE NOTE THAT DURING THE CORONAVIRUS SOCIAL DISCTANCING RESTRICTIONS REGULAR SESSIONS HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED.

ALL IN SOUND ARE RUNNING ONLINE INTERACTIVE SESSIONS DURING THIS TIME. PLEASE SEE THEIR 'SING! TOGETHER ONLINE' EVENT PAGE FOR MORE DETAILS.

Registered Charity All in Sound provides access to high quality music-making and singing for those who may otherwise not be able to access it.

Their programme of work called "Sing! Together" provides sessions to sing and make music together for people living with dementia, memory loss and their carers. They include a mixture of songs and music to enjoy and no previous experience is needed.

The group has been going since April 2018, and keeps growing and developing! Highlights have been being invited by the Mayor of Ely to sing at the City of Ely Civic Service, as well as being "played out" on Chris Evans Breakfast Show on Virgin Radio UK for our first ever performance. In addition we welcomed young people from Ely College to sing with us, and we shared songs and conversations through the sessions.

We are looking forward to another concert, to celebrate all our singing in December 2019.

In 2020, All In Sound will be developing a programme of work in Care Homes, which will include involving early years children from birth up to school age.
