Understandably many of the dementia-friendly musical activities and services listed on this map have been postponed, some have moved their offer virtually. Please contact the provider for further details.

Tibbs Dementia Foundation

Welcome to Tibbs Dementia Foundation's Music 4 Memory! We invite you to join us at our weekly community music therapy groups, a friendly, accepting and supportive space for all to play instruments, sing and dance, share favourite poems, stories and memories.
Come and meet us all! You don't have to have a diagnoisis yet or be 'musical' to benefit. All contributions are valued, whether vocal, physical or silent. Tea and biscuits are always available, a £5 donation per person is suggested.
Our registered music therapists are supported by a dementia support worker and a fantastic, loyal team of volunteers who were awarded the Queens Award for voluntary service in 2018.
Have a look at our Hear & Now collaboration with the Philharmonia and Fusion Youth singers!

Music 4 Memory has been running since 2008. Alongside our weekly community music therapy groups, we offer care home groups and 1:1 home visits for those who, in later stages, may be unable to leave their home.

Tibbs Dementia Foundation offers information and support for families throughout the dementia journey and beyond. With over 40 weekly services including bowls, walking football, allotment, facilitated talking groups for family supporters, talking groups for people with dementia, regular 'Tibbs 4 Tea' outings and seasonal celebrations, we hope that there is something to suit everyone.
